deaths, Chesterfield also has the pre 1837 non-conformist registers on microfilm
which are also held at the PRO.
Wills
The Derby District Probate Registry was established in 1858 and closed in
1928. The Nottingham Probate Sub-Registry was also used to prove some
Derbyshire wills. Many of the proved wills can be found in the Derbyshire
Record Office (indexed)
